And there’s no denying that newsletters take the lead in this category, too. Much like it’s relative, Snail Mail, email newsletters are an excellent way to gain insight from people you admire in your industry. Depending on the newsletter, you may be replying directly to the person who sent it, which is a great way to lay the foundation down for a genuine relationship.

Paul co-hosts the Creative Class podcast with Kaleigh Moore (Psst. I’ll talk about her more next) as well as the Creative Class course. Each Sunday, he sends his list an email on topics varying from digital privacy to business success.
