Freelancing is an excellent business, but it has its limitations.
Once you hit your ceiling on projects and pricing, there’s really nowhere to grow. And that inability to scale can be stifling.
For those of us who don’t want to stay freelancers forever, what’s the next step?
Well, according to Brian (and countless other successful entrepreneurs), the next step is to productize. Make something people want to buy from you, even while you sleep.
It’s the only way to move beyond the headaches of client-based work and into the realm of passive income. However, without the right strategy, you can end up wasting all your resources on the wrong things and never even launch.
Lousy product strategy is why my first business failed. And even though I’ve found some significantly better teachers since then, I still haven’t been able to crack the code on productization.
It’s fair to say that I’m still in the experimentation stage, which is why I found this ALL NEW Unemployable episode so incredibly helpful. This week, listen in as Brian chats with the grand daddy of digital marketing, Seth Godin.
Together they shed some serious light on how to succeed as a company of one and share a smart strategy that will make your transition from freelancer to fully-fledged entrepreneur surprisingly straightforward.

That’s all from me this week! I hope you enjoy the rest of the resources.
Keep going –
PS. Don’t forget you can check in with Brian’s travels over on his Instagram. Last time I checked he was bragging sharing with us about his three private pools in Mykonos, so I think it’s safe to say he’s having fun. 🙂
