Hey there my feisty unemployable friend!
The podcast remains on hiatus this week, but I think I’ve figured out how to manage quality recordings over here in France. I’ll keep you posted (meanwhile, new photos from Paris and Grenoble here).
You won’t go away empty handed this week, of course. In fact, we’ve got a business-building double header for you.
First up, I wrote a piece over at Further about the intersection of habits and decision making. The two go hand-in-hand, and you’ll push your business in the right direction by letting go of goals and outcomes and embracing better processes:
The Three Words that Lead to Better Decisions
And when it comes to systems, I’ve got to pass the mic over to our own Claire Emerson (who just graduated from the organizer of my personal projects over to a broader gig at Copyblogger — she’s a part of the larger family now, so make sure to congratulate her over on Twitter).
In an extensive tutorial article, she introduces you to the Personal Kanban system she says changed her life and ended her “professional procrastinator” status. It’s great stuff:
Personal Kanban: A Tactile To-Do List to Make You a Project Management Pro
