The idea of the personal enterprise seems to be really resonating with people.
Maybe it’s because it takes the mystery out of “build an audience, find the product, grow a successful business.” Once you realize that it’s a methodical step-by-step journey instead of some magical talent or stroke of luck, it becomes much more attainable.
To make the process even more concrete, I’ve got two case studies for you. These are people who you may see as super successful where they are right now. But they didn’t start there, and their paths will help you get started on your own entrepreneurial journey.
First up is my former business partner Brian Gardner. He went from a traditional job to freelance WordPress theme designer … which quickly revealed a product idea that launched an entire industry.

Then we talk to Laura Roeder. Her journey from freelance designer to online trainer to founder of multiple SaaS solutions is an inspiring one, and she’s here to share it with us — the good and the bad — so we can learn from her example.

Keep going –
P.S. Next week we’re taking a deep dive into building your own personal enterprise. I’ve got a free 5-part course for you that will get you started right. Stay tuned.
